Submission Guidelines

Kalakankar International Journal of Multidisciplinary Research invites original, high-quality and unpublished manuscripts from researchers, academicians, educators, professionals and research scholars working in multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary areas.

Authors may submit their manuscripts through the Online Submission system available on the journal website or send the manuscript as an email attachment to editor@kijmr.com .

Authors are strongly advised to prepare their manuscripts according to the prescribed paper template to ensure smooth editorial screening, efficient peer review and timely processing.

Criteria for Manuscript Submission

  • The manuscript must be original, plagiarism-free and unpublished.
  • The manuscript must not be under consideration by any other journal.
  • AI-assisted content, where used, must be limited, transparent and consistent with the journal’s publication policy.
  • The writing must be clear, concise, coherent and academically appropriate.
  • All data, findings and supporting information must be accurate, valid and reliable.
  • Results, discussion and conclusions must be logical and adequately supported.
  • The subject matter must fall within the multidisciplinary scope of the journal.
  • Authors must properly acknowledge all sources, funding and potential conflicts of interest.

Preparation of Manuscripts

Authors are required to follow the instructions provided below while preparing and submitting their manuscripts. Non-compliance with these requirements may result in the manuscript being returned for correction or may cause delays in the review and publication process.

Manuscript Structure

Manuscripts should normally be arranged in the following order:

  1. Title
  2. Abstract
  3. Keywords
  4. Introduction
  5. Materials and Methods / Methodology
  6. Results and Discussion
  7. Conclusion
  8. References

The manuscript must be prepared according to the prescribed Paper Template .

Manuscript Format

  • Manuscripts may be submitted in English, Hindi or another language accepted by the journal.
  • Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word format only (.doc or .docx).
  • Authors must follow the prescribed paper template and formatting instructions.
  • Tables, figures and illustrations must be clearly numbered and appropriately cited in the text.
  • References must be accurate, complete and presented in a consistent academic style.

Review and Publication Process

All submitted manuscripts are subject to preliminary editorial screening and a double-blind peer-review process conducted by at least two subject experts. The editorial decision may be acceptance, revision or rejection based on the quality, originality, relevance and academic merit of the manuscript.

The corresponding author will ordinarily receive the editorial decision or revision request by email within 5–15 days of submission, depending on reviewer availability and the nature of the manuscript.

Fee and Publication Timeline

There is no manuscript submission or peer-review fee. A nominal publication charge may be applicable only after the manuscript has been formally accepted for publication.

Accepted manuscripts are ordinarily scheduled for publication after the receipt of the final corrected manuscript, required documents and confirmation of applicable publication formalities.
